Esta semana participamos en Plenary Meeting del proyecto H2020 AI@EDGE “A secure and reusable Artificial Intelligence platform for Edge Computing in beyond 5G networks”, que se celebra en Estocolmo, junto a nuestros socios de Consorcio, aportando nuestros desarrollos en el Caso de Uso “Edge AI assisted monitoring of linear infrastructures using drones in BVLOS operation”.
Se trata de una aplicación industrial avanzada para la operación y mantenimiento automatizado de carreteras y otras infraestructuras lineales: nuestros drones embarcan conectividad 5G reforzada con la plataforma AI@EDGE que proporciona la gestión de red y potentes funciones IA, las cuales detectarán automáticamente incidentes en la carretera y elaborarán modelos 3D de la zona.
Con estas funcionalidades se dispondrá de un flujo de información y trabajo de forma inmediata que facilitarán la toma de decisiones y la respuesta rápida en situaciones que afecten al tráfico y a la seguridad de los vehículos y sus ocupantes.

This week we participate in the Plenary Meeting of the H2020 AI@EDGE project "A secure and reusable Artificial Intelligence platform for Edge Computing in beyond 5G networks", which is being held in Stockholm, along with our Consortium partners, contributing with our developments in the Use Case "Edge AI assisted monitoring of linear infrastructures using drones in BVLOS operation".
This is an advanced industrial application for the automated operation and maintenance of roads and other linear infrastructures: our drones are equipped with 5G connectivity reinforced with the AI@EDGE platform that provides network management and powerful AI functions, which will automatically detect incidents on the road and create 3D models of the area.
With these functionalities, there will be an immediate flow of information and work that will facilitate decision-making and quick response in situations that affect traffic and the safety of vehicles and their occupants.
